What cookies and storage we use
We measure traffic with privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics provided by our hosting platform. It counts page views and referrers in aggregate, without cookies, fingerprinting, or collecting anything that identifies you personally. We see that a page was visited; we cannot see who visited it.
If you switch between the dark and light theme, we remember your choice in your browser's local storage under the key ei-theme. That preference stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Strictly necessary storage like this, used only to honour a choice you made, is exempt from consent requirements under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
What we don't use
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party marketing pixels, no social media embeds that phone home, and no analytics that follow you to other websites. Our contact form works without setting any cookie at all.
